The piece carries a subtle warning: despite humanity’s failings, the larger forces that shape existence move forward, gathering what remains as seeds to new beginnings beyond what we know. This is my reflection of a future where loss and hope coexist, where a new creation may rise again from the remains we leave behind. Reminding me that even as we fail to protect humanity, something essential, such as nature, will endure and may even be carried onward to a new planet in the Universe. Humanity may ruin itself but Nature may be our planet’s legacy.
