This art emerged from a quiet encounter with deer moving gently through trillium blooms in our local Chelsea forest. In this piece, I wanted to capture a moment of calm—where movement and stillness coexist in the natural world. The gentle balance of forms and textures reflects a deeper connection we often overlook, reminding me that despite our neglect, the earth continues its course with quiet resilience. Creating this work was a personal reminder to slow down and witness the grace that lingers in the warm woodlands of our local Michigan communities.
