Description
Beneath the clouds is a 1941 map of Europe, the old Soviet Union, and the Ukraine as it it looked 80 years ago. What you can no longer see is a bowl of happy orange flowers which I chose to cover over. It seemed incongruous with today’s world-shattering news.
But it’s a spring-like day here, and while walking my pup, Gus, I couldn’t help but notice the birds singing to celebrate the beautiful weather oblivious to world events It seemed the song was the sound of hope.
