This artwork is 11 x 14 inches and created using a monoprint collage technique. It’s an abstract piece full of textures and dynamic forms that I hope you’ll find as engaging and intriguing as I do. At the center of this piece, there's a bold "monolith" meant to grab your attention, standing out amid a mix of fragmented shapes. These shapes, in both dark and light colors, mingle and overlap, woven together with intricate white and gold lines that bring a sense of movement and energy to the canvas. The background is layered with soft earth tones, adding depth and a touch of complexity to the overall composition. Scattered across the artwork, you’ll find circular motifs that help balance out the lively interplay of colors and shapes. The result is what I like to think of as a harmonious blend of controlled chaos, where organic and geometric elements come together to create something visually captivating. "A Penny for Your Thoughts" is part of my Monolith Series, where I explore the dynamic conversation between extreme movement and geometric stability. It’s my way of conveying an emotional resonance that I hope speaks to you on a sensory level.
